It’s not surprising to find out that this was the filming location of the first season of Survivor. To get here you have to first fly into Panama then take a one hour connection flight east into Colon. The good news is that the american dollar is used as the main currency here. Upon arrival you realize its time to un-plug with reality. No Starbucks , McDonalds , or any Chains. A boat transport is needed to get to various parts of this beautiful and unique archipelago. For those searching for a eco -friendly experience I recommend Casa Paradisio for your stay ( as long as you can deal with no electricity & no T.V, for those who really want to un-plug! )
