If you truly want to travel and its truly a desire to take that one special trip or trot around the world, then it becomes a priority. People, in my opinion spend money on what they feel is important to them. A guy who enjoys playing electronics will justify spending hundreds of dollars on new gadgets. A woman who loves shoes will justify spending the same to satisfy her urge for shoes. A man into his cars can spend thousands on the newest car models and accessories. The reality is people spend money on what they like and prioritize in their lives. When we really want something we do everything in our power to make it happen.
The good news is that you don't have to win the lotto to go. In fact you don’t have to have a lot of money either. Traveling like the rich and famous is wonderful but is not the only way to go. Joining a volunteer program can be very rewarding and allows one the taste of a very unique travel option. Many places in the world need help from Wildlife conservation to humanitarian work. This way of travel is very rewarding and provides a “once in a life time" experience with out dishing out thousands of dollars yet giving back to the areas you visit. That being said, this option of traveling is not for the faint of heart as it at times requires adaptability to very basic accommodations.
Wether you join a volunteer program, or book a trip on Miles & Points, the reality is you don't have to win the lotto to be able to travel the world.
